last week at UTP...

So the last week on campus is shaping up to be insane! In a classic change of events we're actually helping with two outreaches this week on campus. On Wednesday Tom Aechtner, one of the Canadian staff and a soon to be doctorate student at Oxford will be giving a talk entitled, "Is a scientist able to believe in God?" (check out the poster above!!) Because UTP is a technical school I'm super excited along with the rest of the team to see what happens and what this starts... we've already heard that one prof will be bringing her entire class to the talk!

Thursday is our weekly meeting! Last week the room was packed out and we actually needed to run and grab more chairs. A prof brought her entire class and it was great to see students we had talked to at our information table the day before show up to hear what its all about. And (!!!) to top the week off, we're ending Friday at 1:00 with a concert. Both the Canadian teams will be coming to campus to give us a hand in finishing the week off! Jose Andreas, a close friend and student at UTP, will be performing with his band. They're an awesome group of guys and I'm excited to see them play in front of their own peers.

And so... saying all that please be praying for us! The team will be busy doing publicity for both events as well as following-up with students we've met in the last weeks. I have a super busy schedule this week between discipleship meetings and preparation for our adventure cycle which will be happening next week! Its insane but I'm so stoked to see everything happening. Steve M said tonight at our training session that even some of the testimonies that were shared Sunday at church was only a tip of what God is really doing! I couldn't agree more!
